Airlines risk losing AOC over unpaid staff salaries

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has warned domestic airline operators in the country against non-payment of their staff salaries as they may lose their Air Operators Certificate (AOCs), if the practice persists.
The warning may not be unconnected with speculations in some quarters that one of the startup airlines owed its workers six months salaries, a situation experts in the industry said may lead to compromising the safety of its operations. Continue Reading
