Job Posting- UI/UX Designer
OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE OF ENGAGEMENT
Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback. Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups. Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
SCOPE OF WORK AND KEY TASK
- Create user-centered by understanding business requirements and user feedback
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups
- Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
- Design UI elements such as input controls, navigation components and informational components
- Create original graphics designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams
- Incorporating customer’s feedbacks, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
REPORTING
The personnel will report to the Information Technology (IT) Manager.
GRAPHIC DESIGN COMPETENCIES, EXPERIENCES AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates wishing to apply for this assignment should be a resident of Abuja
- Should have a degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Engineering or related field. (if no Degree in Design) you must have prior experience as a UI/IX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
- Must be proficient in prototyping tools such as Adobe XD
- Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
- Pay strong attention to details and have a keen eye for aesthetics
- Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
- A strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
