Stakeholders Consultative Forum On Incentive, Compliance and Business Integrity.
The Core Group of signatories to the Convention on Business Integrity working with a select group of representatives of the Regulatory Bodies in Nigeria and other members of the Business Community since December 2010 towards identifying ways to stimulate the ethical and transparent conduct of Businesses in Nigeria as a platform for sustainable growth and private sector development .
A Stakeholders” Consultative Forum on Incentives, Compliance & Business Integrity was held at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at which event, the role that positive incentives play in encouraging improved levels of compliance with business integrity standards was debated and the BAAC Nigeria Project was launched.
MTN Nigeria, Access Bank Plc, Oando Plc and Siemens Nigeria made presentations on “Incentives, Compliance Management and Business Integrity”,, each organization giving their experience. Ms. Lilian Ekeanyanwu of Technical Unit on Government And Anti – Corruption Reforms, (TUGAR) also presented a paper on The National strategy to combat Corruption: Implications for the Private Sector.
